| Bio: | Thorog the Slasher - now Web 2.0 compatible«You might argue that you'd have to be nuts to call your kids Tom and Jerry. Luckily for Tom and Jerry, their parents weren't nuts. That's why they started life as Lawrence and Bruce. Then, one night, they decided it'd be a bit of a lark if they changed their names by deed poll. Afterwards, Tom blamed Jerry, Jerry blamed Tom, and they both blamed the weed. But neither would admit it was a horrible idea and, with the hot-headedness of youth, neither would change their name back unless the other did it first. Their parents, of course, were shocked. They had spent good, honest time on those names. Their father, Andrew, had taken time from his good honest job to do some good, honest research on naming. And he had come up with some good, honest names, God be damned! They would have been livid if they'd known about the young lads' pot habit. As it was, they cut off the boys' allowance and hoped that without the money for petrol, girls and partying they'd settle down. Unfortunately, Tom and Jerry had become superheroes by that point, and their nightly capers were hardly inhibited by their lack of credit. Neither Tom, nor Jerry, feature in this journal.
